Within the landscape we understand texture and detail in an embodied way, whereas the digital world provides disembodied but empowering encounters with overviews and contexts. Today we live through both these occurrences in rapid succession or simultaneously. This immersive installation explores intersections between experience, the digital realm, and the particulars of site. Text interacts with images and objects, and disparate textures coalesce to reveal a bigger picture.

Enfold, 2019, installation, inkjet prints on paper, digitally-cut vinyl, dimensions variable, Casting Room, Ilam School of Fine Arts.
